The first snowdrops lift the spirit with the anticipation of the Spring to come. Unfortunately due to a dose of flu and lacking the energy to get out into the local countryside this photograph is taken in my garden. A bright afternoon enticed me out to capture their beauty. I love how the light shines through the delicate white petals and the intricacy of the green markings. Hopefully at a later date I will get a chance to photograph them in their natural habitat.
